### My Specialist Knowledge

I have specialised in advising private clients on a wide range of UK taxation issues for over 30 years. My career started with the Inland Revenue (as was) and I went on to qualify with a ‘Big 4’ practice. Subsequently I have worked in a variety of firms, including a spell with a private bank. Whilst my practice encompasses most areas of UK taxation, my background is primarily in advising non-UK domiciliaries and other internationally mobile individuals in relation to UK tax planning and structuring of offshore assets. I also have extensive experience in dealing with HMRC enquiries and disclosures. I am an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Outside of work, when family commitments allow, I have a number of bicycles that I rarely ride and a dog that demands regular walking.
